NDS Healthcare are looking for strong, passionate, and reliable Support Workers to care for clients with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs in Birkenhead. We have both Full-Time (37 Hours) and Part-Time (23.5 Hours) vacancies available as well as a choice of Days or Nights at a stunning service in Birkenhead, easily commutable from both Liverpool and the Wirral.
Our client is a market-leading provider of Supported Living services, providing residential accommodation and support for individuals with a wide range of Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs.
Ideally the role requires a car driver but the client is also willing to consider non-drivers if you are the right candidate.

Full Time and Part Time Contracts Available! 37 (FT) / 23.5 (PT) Hours per week
- £12.00 per hour flat rate
- Access to EarlyPay - access up to £250 in advance of your pay day
- Double Time for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day
- 12 Hour Shifts - 8am-8pm (Day) or 8pm-8am (Night)
- Positions available for either Day or Nights - your choice!
- Overtime available, internally and externally (company partners locally with the NHS)
- Experience supporting people with Learning and/or Physical Disabilities is essential
- Candidates must be prepared to deliver some Personal Care
- Mixed Genders of Male and Female within the service

As a Support Worker within this service, you will be caring and compassionate with a passion for delivering exceptional care and promoting service user’s independence to live their best life.
The service is home to residents who are non-verbal so it is essential that your communication is clear so you can build relationships and trust with them. Some service users are independent and need prompting to maintain personal hygiene however others have complex needs and require full personal care. There can be some challenging behaviours within the service but they are generally verbal, not physical.
Training is provided by the organisation and is delivered regionally. You may need to travel to attend this. Following commencement of your role all transport expenses incurred to attend training are reimbursed as an expense.
All roles are TTP (Temp-to-Perm) meaning you will work for NDS Healthcare for the first 12 weeks on weekly pay before taking on a permanent contract with our client and switching to monthly pay.
Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS Registered on the update service, if a new DBS is required this cost will be met by the applicant with a £28 up front payment at the application stage and a further £28 deduction from the first weekly wage.
