We are looking for a Team Manager to work in the council’s adult safeguarding team, working collaboratively with operational services and other agencies to ensure a robust, timely and appropriate response to safeguarding concerns and Section 42 Enquiries.

We are looking for a Team Manager to lead a team which includes Advanced Practitioners, Social Workers and Care Navigators ensuring the timely workflow with the team.

Ensuring practice is Care Act 2014 compliant, responsible for leading, managing and supporting the team to provide a high quality, effective and efficient safeguarding and social care service to adults and their carers in Wirral.

We would like them to provide leadership and professional supervision to the team, giving direction and maintaining practice standards.

This includes the achievement of performance targets and promoting continuous professional development. Ensuring structures, systems and processes are in place so that statutory duties, legislative responsibilities and KPI’s of the Loc
