Wirral Council require an Adult Agency Team Manager for a review project.

The ideal candidate must have team management experience, and experience in supervising Social Work staff.

Sound knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, Safeguarding and Continuing Health Care.

Desirable, knowledge of the 3 conversation model.

The aim of the role is to manage a team of five agency Social Workers.

The role is to ensure the five Social Workers undertake reviews in care homes and in a person's own home in a timely manner.

The role will require the Manager to allocate the work, monitor throughput, quality assure the assessments.

As required ensure continuing health care checklists are implemented.

  • DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
  • Social Work England registration
  • Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.
  • Can work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set ups
  • Possess knowledge of service needs.
  • Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
  • Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
  • Have a flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
