The Role

As a Cross Key Stage Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Work across different key stages, supporting teachers in delivering high-quality education.

  • Assist with interventions to support pupils with their academic and personal development.

  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.

  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to plan and implement effective teaching strategies.

  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting learning activities and providing tailored support to meet individual student needs.

  • Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.

  • Facilitating interventions and booster sessions to help students achieve their learning goals.

  • Promoting positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment.

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Requirements
  • Experience working with children across various key stages.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.

  • A patient and empathetic approach to working with children.

  • Relevant qualifications in education or a related field (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ, etc.).
