As part of an ongoing strategy Hays Education are looking to recruit SEN teaching assistants to work in various schools in Liverpool.Hays are one of the largest education agencies in the Wirral area. We have some excellent working relationships with over 65% of schools in the Wirral in areas such as Birkenhead, Bromborough, Heswall, Hoylake & Wallasey.Your new roleHays Education is looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to provide one to one support for pupils who have special needs. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your job is to enhance and enrich the learning of the pupil in your care. What you'll need to succeed

  • Have special needs experience & have recent experience of working with children in Educational settings (and be able to provide references for at least 6 months).
  • SEN Experience- ADHD, Aspergers, Autism, learning difficulties
  • Good knowledge and understanding of what it takes to work with pupils
  • Be confident and patient
  • Competent behaviour management skills
