About the Role:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our dynamic team in a welcoming and supportive school in The Wirral. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to work with a range of students with diverse learning needs, helping them to achieve their full potential. You will play a key role in providing high-quality, tailored education that fosters a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students with Special Educational Needs.
Adapt teaching methods and resources to suit individual learning needs.
Work closely with other teachers, support staff, and parents to create tailored learning plans.
Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing regular feedback to ensure development.
Foster an inclusive, supportive, and caring classroom environment.
Ensure that all students feel valued and respected, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.
Collaborate with external agencies and specialists as needed to support students' development.

Essential Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), dyslexia, and other learning disabilities.
A strong understanding of the strategies and techniques to support diverse learning needs.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching.
A commitment to continuous professional development.

Desirable:

SENCO qualification (or working towards).
Experience with specialised SEN programs or interventions.
