Assistant Management AccountantPrescot – Hybrid after probation (3 days in office, 2 days at home)£30,000 - £35,000 + Study SupportThis is an exceptional part qualified accountant role to join a growing e-commerce/retail business. This successful family run business, with a turnover of c.£40mil with year on year growth, are now looking to add a Assistant Management Accountant to their small but growing finance team.Reporting into their super friendly and talented Finance Manager, you will working both closely with them and their impressive Finance Director to Support the implementation of their ERP system using Microsoft Dynamics 365 F & O. Once implemented you will manage the day to day running of the system including maintaining its integrity and performing reconciliations across all functions to ensure its accuracy. This role does not require a systems expert, as you will work closely with their IT team, however, does require a candidate who has used ERP systems in their previous role(s)Other duties will include:-
  • Maintaining the set up requirements and controls within the ERP on a day to day basis
  • Reconcile customer demand coming in with customer orders going out and the control processes in between
  • Reconcile customer transactions to external bank and credit card payments and the associated control processes
  • Control the sales ledger and investigate any unusual customer balances
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage the company’s cash flow
  • Assist with the production of the monthly accounts and forecasts
  • Help prepare the annual accounts and full supporting schedules ready for the annual audit
  • Support the purchase ledger team when required
  • Production of ad hoc reporting and financial analysis as required by the directors and senior management
