Description
You will be an experienced Accounts Assistant looking to join a well-established and highly regarded business. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking for stability and a supportive work environment.
In this role, you will play a vital part in both credit control and accounting functions. Your responsibilities will include:
Credit Control:
- Collaborating with solicitor clients and third-party insurance companies to manage, negotiate, and recover outstanding debts related to personal injury medical fees via telephone, email, and written correspondence.
- Maintaining accurate records on the Proclaim case management system.
- Providing regular updates to the Credit Control Manager with weekly progress reports.
Accounting:
- Processing sales and purchase ledger invoices efficiently and accurately.
- Handling bank receipt processing and ensuring timely reconciliations.
- Managing purchase ledger reconciliation and payments to meet deadlines.
- Supporting weekly and monthly financial processes.
- Assisting with additional accounting tasks as required.
This role is ideal for someone with strong accounts experience who is passionate about working in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Previous experience Accounts Assistant
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data privacy standards.
