- Manual Turning Lathes
- Manual Milling Machines
- Fly Presses
- Pillar Drills
- Band Saws
- Chop Saws
Role Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain manual turning lathes, milling machines, and fly presses with precision.
- Work with detailed engineering drawings to produce high-quality components.
- Handle general machine shop duties including pillar drilling, band saw, and chop saw operations.
- Perform regular safety checks on equipment and ensure the machine shop is properly maintained.
- Collaborate with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure machines are serviced and repaired promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools are returned to their correct place after use.
- Time-served with a relevant engineering qualification.
- Extensive experience working with manual lathes and milling machines.
- Previous experience in a machine shop environment with strong hands-on technical skills.
