About the Role:
We are seeking recruiting on behalf of one of our Social Housing clients for an experienced Contract Manager - Environmental Services to lead the delivery of high-quality environmental services. This role involves overseeing the Environmental Services Team, ensuring compliance, managing budgets, and driving continuous service improvement to maintain high standards in communal properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Environmental Services Team to meet targets and service delivery standards.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and manage risk remediation tasks.
  • Monitor budgetary performance, providing financial updates and forecasts.
  • Develop and coach team members to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer complaints, ensuring quick resolution and implementing service improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external partners to ensure effective service delivery.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in managing environmental and facilities management contracts.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and lead operational teams.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Experience in the social housing sector is desirable.

Qualifications:

  • HND/HNC/NVQ4 or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • IOSH/NEBOSH Managing Safety qualification.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies
