About the Role:
We are seeking recruiting on behalf of one of our Social Housing clients for an experienced Contract Manager - Environmental Services to lead the delivery of high-quality environmental services. This role involves overseeing the Environmental Services Team, ensuring compliance, managing budgets, and driving continuous service improvement to maintain high standards in communal properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Environmental Services Team to meet targets and service delivery standards.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and manage risk remediation tasks.
- Monitor budgetary performance, providing financial updates and forecasts.
- Develop and coach team members to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
- Address customer complaints, ensuring quick resolution and implementing service improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external partners to ensure effective service delivery.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience in managing environmental and facilities management contracts.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and lead operational teams.
- Strong understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Experience in the social housing sector is desirable.
Qualifications:
- HND/HNC/NVQ4 or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- IOSH/NEBOSH Managing Safety qualification.
- Membership of relevant professional bodies
