Export Administrator

  • Liverpool
  • Salary - 31,000 per annum
  • Full time - Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 5pm
  • Fixed Term Contract - 12 months (Maternity cover)

We are currently hiring for a company based in Liverpool who deal with customers based internationally and are seeking an experienced Export Administrator to join their customer service department.

You will be responsible for supporting with the export of products out of the UK to reach customers globally. You will monitor and process daily shipments and ensure the correct regulatory and required paperwork is in place for Export shipments

The role is offered on a 12 month fixed term contract as the position is maternity cover.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Receive, monitor and process daily shipments and ensure the correct regulatory and required paperwork is in place for Export shipments
  • Produce and check Commercial Invoices, packing lists and any other export documentation as required.
  • Continuously monitor shipments from the point of receipt through to delivery.
  • Completion of shipping documentation
  • Assist in obtaining proof of Export, including checking documentation is correct and complete
  • Prepare and provide documents to customers in accordance with requirements

Knowledge and skills required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, numeracy and problem solving
  • Exceptionally organised with a high level of attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Export procedures, processes and terminology
  • Understanding of international trade and commercial documentation
  • Ability to multi-task essential
