Day to Day Duties
As HR Advisor your duties will involve:
- Advising business leaders on Performance Management, Disciplinaries, Grievances, Dismissals and Contractual Issues.
- Assisting with the recruitment, selection and on boarding of new employees.
- Maintain HR policies, procedures and practices and ensure any changes to legislation are reflected accordingly and within governed time-frames.
- Managing employee records and maintaining accurate data.
- Coordinate with external payroll service provider for seamless payroll execution, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll data.
- Coordinate and optimise our HR Information and Time & Attendance Systems ensuring record accuracy and compliance.
- Manage, review and administer the company employee benefits.
- Maintaining awareness and understanding of current HR legislative requirements as well as any proposed or future changes that may affect the Company.
- Creating strong working relationships with stakeholders to influence and deliver value to the business.
- Actively participate in HR projects and support the implementation of new personnel policies.
- Ensure regulatory compliance e.g. Right to work, Internal policies.
- Conducting exit interviews.
Essential Skills
It is essential as a HR Advisor that you:
- Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent as a minimum.
- Strong experience in a generalist HR, advisor or business partner role.
- Good working knowledge of UK employment law.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases (Oracle, ADP)
- Knowledge of HR best practices, including applicable employment laws and regulations in the UK.
- Experience with complex ER cases
- High level of discretion and confidentiality, with the ability to handle personal and confidential information with tact and professionalism.

It would be desirable as a HR Advisor if you:
