Monday - Friday: 8.00AM - 4.00PM

Day to Day Duties

As HR Advisor your duties will involve:

  • Advising business leaders on Performance Management, Disciplinaries, Grievances, Dismissals and Contractual Issues.
  • Assisting with the recruitment, selection and on boarding of new employees.
  • Maintain HR policies, procedures and practices and ensure any changes to legislation are reflected accordingly and within governed time-frames.
  • Managing employee records and maintaining accurate data.
  • Coordinate with external payroll service provider for seamless payroll execution, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll data.
  • Coordinate and optimise our HR Information and Time & Attendance Systems ensuring record accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage, review and administer the company employee benefits.
  • Maintaining awareness and understanding of current HR legislative requirements as well as any proposed or future changes that may affect the Company.
  • Creating strong working relationships with stakeholders to influence and deliver value to the business.
  • Actively participate in HR projects and support the implementation of new personnel policies.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance e.g. Right to work, Internal policies.
  • Conducting exit interviews.

Essential Skills

It is essential as a HR Advisor that you: 

  • Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent as a minimum.
  • Strong experience in a generalist HR, advisor or business partner role.
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases (Oracle, ADP)
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, including applicable employment laws and regulations in the UK.
  • Experience with complex ER cases
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality, with the ability to handle personal and confidential information with tact and professionalism.

Desirable Experience

It would be desirable as a HR Advisor if you: 

  • Available to start as soon as possible
