Job Description
Position: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Prescot
Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 DOE
HRGO recruitment are currently recruiting a Mechanical Fitter for our client based in Prescot. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of commercial industry experience.
Skills and requirements:
- Dismantle and assemble ranges of rotating equipment, specifically pumps and motors.
- Need to be flexible and ready to deal with different challenges working on customer sites, primarily around the Northwest of the UK.
- Use of standard workshop machinery
- Dismantling and re-assembling of rotating machinery and equipment
- Actively engaging in the company's Continuous Improvement program within the Workshop in line with the business objectives
- Participation in Workshop on-call rota
Preferred Experience:
- Good understanding of the Electro-Mechanical Industry
- At least five years of commercial industrial experience
- Must have experience with rotating equipment, specifically pumps and motors
- Full UK Driving Licence
