About the RoleWe are looking for a Customer Service Manager with a strong engineering background and proven experience as a Service or Operations Manager in the Tool, Plant & Equipment Hire industry. You’ll lead a team of engineers, drivers, and depot operatives, ensuring high standards of service, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:?? Manage and lead the depot team, driving exceptional customer service?? Oversee daily operations, ensuring equipment is maintained and delivered on time?? Implement and uphold high performance, safety, and compliance standards?? Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers?? Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes, and service delivery
Essential Experience & Skills:?? Proven experience as a Service or Operations Manager in the hire industry?? Engineering background - strong technical understanding of plant, tool, or equipment hire?? Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams?? Customer-focused with a results-driven mindset?? Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities?? Knowledge of industry regulations and health & safety standards
