Maintenance Engineer

Scantec are looking to find a talented and enthusiastic Maintenance Engineer to join our client's friendly team in Liverpool.

If you’re passionate about keeping things running smoothly and enjoy tackling a variety of maintenance tasks, this role could be perfect for you.

You’ll be instrumental in maintaining and improving facilities, ensuring everything works efficiently, and helping to minimise downtime.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Carrying out regular and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Troubleshooting and fixing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Making sure all health and safety standards are met.
• Keeping accurate records of all maintenance work and repairs.
• Collaborating with other teams to enhance processes and efficiency.
• Responding to business critical maintenance needs.

What You’ll Need:

• Solid experience as a Maintenance Engineer.
• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and manuals.
• Skilled with various hand and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Great attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
