We are seeking multiple multiskilled maintenance engineers to join a continuously growing, award winning business in Prescot. Working a part of a shift rotation your will need to draw on proven skills and experience to help keep production momentum and add to a valued company culture.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Hands-On Maintenance: Tackle both routine and emergency maintenance for conveyors, sensors, PLCs, pumps, steam generation plants, compressed air systems, shrink wrappers, and palletisers.
  • Fast Problem Solving: Use your expertise to respond to breakdowns quickly, minimising downtime and keeping the team moving.
  • Stay on Top of Compliance: Keep all site equipment compliant with HSE standards to create a safe, efficient workplace.
  • Collaborate and Improve: Work on continuous improvement projects, manage external contractors, and take the lead on maintenance upgrades.
  • Efficient Record-Keeping: Maintain records and documentation via our CMMS system to track all work and stay aligned with preventive maintenance schedules.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Core Qualifications: Time-served Electrical Apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or relevant Engineering qualification.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid mechanical engineering and fault-finding skills, and experience working with FMCG production equipment.
  • Ideal Additions: City & Guilds 17th Edition, LEAN or BOAS certification, and knowledge of industrial boilers.
