AspionSearch are currently seeking atalented Production Manager tojoina rapidly growing, ambitious company within a niche sector.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise production activities to meet daily and weekly production targets. Ensure all fire doors are manufactured to comply with relevant fire safety standards (BS EN, UL, NFPA)
  • Lead and manage the production team, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and daily oversight. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement and enforce strict quality control processes to ensure all products meet fire door certification requirements. Work with quality assurance teams to identify and address non-conformities
  • Identify inefficiencies in the production process and implement continuous improvement initiatives to maximize output, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Use lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma principles where appropriate.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and components, ensuring that supply meets production demand. Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed on the production floor, minimizing workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for all employees. Stay up to date with health and safety regulations related to manufacturing.
