Leasehold and Right to Buy OfficerPrescot - MerseysidePermanentPart Time – 22.2 Hours£25,776 - £31,143 FTEJoin a dynamic Housing Association team, supporting leaseholders and managing Right to Buy applications to ensure compliance and excellent customer service.THE ROLEAs a Leasehold and Right to Buy Officer, you will be the first point of contact for leaseholders and tenants, handling Right to Buy and shared ownership queries while ensuring compliance with legislation.
  • Act as the main contact for leasehold and RTB enquiries
  • Advise customers on their leaseholder responsibilities
  • Support shared ownership sales, staircasing, and resales
  • Ensure service charges are calculated and validated correctly
  • Monitor and assist in the collection of service charges
  • Provide up-to-date advice on RTB and leasehold policies
  • Organise and coordinate meetings regarding service charge issues
  • Work with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and procedures
THE CANDIDATEThe ideal candidate will have experience in leasehold services or Right to Buy within a housing environment.
  • Knowledge of RTB and leasehold legislation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • IT proficiency for administrative tasks and record-keeping
  • Confident and customer-focused approach
  • Able to travel independently to a range of locations
  • THE CONTRACT
  • Salary: £25,776 - £31,143 FTE depending on candidate’s ability to demonstrate they fully meet requirements of the role. Part time equivalent £13,665.60 - £18,685.80
  • Hours of work: 22.2 per week – with a requirement to work a minimum of 1 day per week from the office or more depending on the needs of the business
  • Location: Prescott, with travel to other sites as required
  • Annual leave: Basic – 24 days, after 3 years’ service – 27 days, after 5 years’ service – 30 days
