We are recruiting for an experienced commercial plumber / pipefitter or Mechanical Engineer to work with a project team completing refurbishment projects on commercial / critical estates across the UK . The projects cover refurbishment of mechanical plant room, venting, water services and pipework.
The position is a contract role for circa 3 months (may be extended pending pipeline).
Ideally to be based from the Merseyside office the Plumber / Pipefitter will cover local and national projects with working away.
250/day to 300/day depending on payment method
Mon-Fri 10 hours per day (day payments will be honoured on early completions)
Van, fuel expenses and digs will be covered by the client
Working away and digs paid for

Job Description:
The Plumber / Pipefitter will complete refurbishment projects on critical / data centre facilities and replace old and worn mechanical plant room including:
water services and feeds, drainage systems, pumps and valves, coolant pipes, ventilation, pipework etc.
Fit out refurbished areas within the facility with water, heating pipework and drainage pipework / services
Any ad-hoc or remedial tasks
Overlap with other mechanical engineers on the CRAC, AHU and fan coil systems where required

Person Specification
A suitable mechanical, plumbing or pipefitting City and Guilds or equivalent is required for this role.
Experienced in pipefitting and installation projects
Experienced in plant room environments and commercial grade buildings
CSCS carded
Valid driving license
Willing to work way from home
Ideally to hold other cards such as IPAF, working at heights but any training required will be provided by the client
