General teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a caring and knowledgeable Teaching Assistant looking to find their next role in primary , to work in a school in St Helens We are looking for Teaching assistants to cover all key stages .

A successful applicant will have a Level 2 childcare qualification or higher and will have at least 6 weeks of experience in schools (or have done a placement in a primary school setting). Safeguarding training is preferred but not required as some training is provided.

Prospero Teaching provide staff to schools, colleges and nurseries across ST Helens , including SEN schools. We are currently looking to fill a Teaching Assistant role in St Helens . The strongest applicant will have confidence in leading a key group of children through their school development.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Position - Teaching Assistant

• Full time/part time - Full time
• Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £95 per day
• Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Level 2 childcare or above
• Previous experience working in a UK school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
