Techniche are supporting one of the UK’s leading Retail Fit Out and Construction partners, as they seek a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Prescot, Liverpool, L34 9JA. In this role you would be working closely alongside CAD Designers, Site Managers, Site Supervisors, Tradesmen, and a Specialist Joinery Workshop division. You would be based at their site offices with expectation to travel to customers sites as required, with the support of the team. The role involves cost control, Estimating and familiarity of SOR's, cost planning, and cost reporting. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing costs related to projects.Required Qualifications of the Quantity Surveyor
  • Experience in cost control, estimating, cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Use of Excel and Sage systems
  • Relevant degree or certification in finance or related field
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus
