Description

The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:

  • Preparing financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports.
  • Analysing financial data and presenting findings to senior management.
  • Assisting with financial forecasting and risk analysis.
  • Supporting the accounting team in day-to-day operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial laws and regulations.
  • Performing cost and scenario analysis, and making relevant recommendations.
  • Contributing to financial audits and coordinating with internal and external auditors.
  • Participating in strategic data analysis, research, and modelling for senior company leadership.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in related software and databases.
