Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive – Serious Injury DepartmentRhyl (with flexibility to work across all offices)Competitive, based on experienceFull-time, PermanentAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join my client's Serious Injury Department, based in North Wales. They are looking for a driven individual with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Claimant Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence.The ideal candidate will have a strong advocacy skillset and the confidence to secure the best possible outcomes for their clients. Additionally, you will need a thorough understanding of clinical negligence and the financial aspects of these types of cases.Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years’ PQE in Claimant Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence.
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury legislation and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage your own caseload and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work.
  • Proficient in using case management systems and legal research tools.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a mixed caseload of Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury cases.
  • Handling both pre and post-issue claims.
  • Offering expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of personal injury law.
  • Investigating and gathering evidence to support claims.
  • Drafting key legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, schedules of loss, and settlement agreements.
  • Negotiating settlements with opposing parties and their legal teams.
  • Representing clients in court, both in-person and remotely.
  • Keeping up-to-date with relevant legislation and case law.
