Job Description:

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Maths to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire and motivate students through engaging lessons and a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Maths to students of all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced level.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students.
  • Develop and implement a Maths curriculum that meets the needs of students and the school.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Maths education, incorporating new techniques and technologies into teaching practice where appropriate.
  • Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Relevant degree or diploma in Maths education or related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Maths to students of all ages and abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
