Working Hours:Monday to Friday, with on-call weekends and occasional weekend work

About Us:

CRS are working with a dedicated and compassionate day service provider for adults with learning disabilities. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life for our service users by offering personalised support, engaging activities, and fostering a community of inclusion and respect. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Team Leader to join the team and help lead the efforts in delivering exceptional care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of support staff to ensure high-quality care and support services.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with service users, their families, and other professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
  • Coordinate and oversee daily activities and programs, promoting active engagement and participation among service users.
  • Handle on-call responsibilities during weekends and provide support as needed.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that respects the dignity and rights of all service users.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring timely and effective communication within the team and with external partners.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a leadership role within the care sector, preferably working with adults with learning disabilities.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, with a strong commitment to person-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and on-call duties.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care are desirable.
