Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Travel Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. You will utilise your organisational skills to manage multiple bookings while providing exceptional customer service. We offer hybrid / flexible working hours, depending on needs. We are also happy to engage people looking for a full time, or part time position.

Duties

  • Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences and requirements.
  • Research and recommend travel destinations, accommodations, and activities.
  • Handle bookings for flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services.
  • Maintain accurate records of client information and bookings using various software tools.
  • Provide clients with essential travel documentation and itineraries.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise before or during their travels.
  • Stay updated on travel trends, regulations, and destination information to provide informed advice.

Skills

  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite for document creation and collaboration.
  • Excellent clerical skills for maintaining accurate records and data entry.
  • Polished phone etiquette to communicate effectively with clients and suppliers.
  • Administrative skills to support the overall operations of the travel consultancy.
  • Ability to computerise processes for enhanced efficiency in booking management.
