SHE Manager
Contract: 5 Months
Location: Runcorn
IR35: Outside
Our Client has a requirement for an SHE Manager, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Runcorn.
Role Purpose:
To provide Health & Safety Management Services for a process sector construction project, ensuring compliance with legislation, overseeing contractor safety, and supporting the successful execution of the project.
Job Role Responsibilities:
- Review design packages to ensure safe and effective installation methodologies.
- Support the development of the installation construction programme.
- Develop and implement health and safety management systems on-site, including regular safety audits.
- Manage contractor safety managers and ensure CDM compliance.
- Coordinate daily SIMOPs, including work planning, inter-trade coordination, and progress monitoring.
- Produce weekly Site Observation Reports (SORs) and monthly safety reports.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
- Proven Health & Safety Management experience in UK onshore process sector construction projects (this role is not suitable for those without this experience).
- Minimum NEBOSH qualification.
- Strong background in reviewing, writing, and enforcing Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
- Experience conducting Health & Safety Audits.
- Up-to-date CDM experience and knowledge.
- Excellent reporting and analytical skills.
