SHE Manager

Contract: 5 Months
Location: Runcorn
IR35: Outside

Our Client has a requirement for an SHE Manager, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Runcorn.

Role Purpose:

To provide Health & Safety Management Services for a process sector construction project, ensuring compliance with legislation, overseeing contractor safety, and supporting the successful execution of the project.

Job Role Responsibilities:

Review design packages to ensure safe and effective installation methodologies.
Support the development of the installation construction programme.
Develop and implement health and safety management systems on-site, including regular safety audits.
Manage contractor safety managers and ensure CDM compliance.
Coordinate daily SIMOPs, including work planning, inter-trade coordination, and progress monitoring.
Produce weekly Site Observation Reports (SORs) and monthly safety reports.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

Proven Health & Safety Management experience in UK onshore process sector construction projects (this role is not suitable for those without this experience).
Minimum NEBOSH qualification.
Strong background in reviewing, writing, and enforcing Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
Experience conducting Health & Safety Audits.
Up-to-date CDM experience and knowledge.
Excellent reporting and analytical skills.
