Pay Rate: 14.00 per hour, plus an attendance bonus of 100 paid quarterly to eligible staff. The overtime rate is 17.50 per hour after 182 hours worked within each calendar month.
Hours of Work: 4-5 shifts out of 7 per week, including weekends. The role involves a mixture of day (07:00 to 19:00) and night (19:00 to 07:00) shifts.
Contract Type: Temporary with the potential for a permanent position.
We are seeking several experienced FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join our client, a leading Drinks Logistics company based in Runcorn. These roles are offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, providing an excellent opportunity for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently load and unload goods in compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Operate on a production line, which includes unloading pallets of stock and labelling items.
- Handball products and place goods in designated areas with precision.
- Verify goods against delivery paperwork to ensure accuracy.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Skills and Experience Required:
- A minimum of 1-year experience operating an FLT Counterbalance truck, with additional experience on PPT or LLOP trucks preferred.
- Valid FLT Counterbalance certification (RTITB/ITSAAR or in-house).
- Previous experience in the Logistics or Manufacturing sectors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends as part of a rotating schedule.
- Keen attention to detail.
- A positive, "Can Do" attitude.
