Due to new major contract wins, a £200m t/o business with a large number of high-profile clients is seeking to appoint a Commercial Accountant. This is a great role offering real diversity, with a strong emphasis on analytical and ad hoc reporting - this should particularly appeal to a strong communicator who would enjoy the interesting customer facing element to this position.

Specific responsibilities of the role include:
- Overseeing the monthly management reporting and detailed variance analysis and holding monthly meetings with senior stakeholders
- Involvement in business planning, managing the annual budgeting process and regular reforecasting
- Leading project costing activity and ad hoc analytical reporting
This is a "no day the same" type of role which puts you at the heart of what this business does. To be considered for this opportunity you should be an experienced Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification highly desirable) with strong financial analysis skills coupled with a natural communication style which would suit direct customer interaction. Strong IT skills and the ability to manipulate large volumes of data is essential.
