Commercial Accountant

Resourcery Group are looking for a Commercial accountant to join a market leading client near Preston. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast growing Preston based business operating within the FMCG sector. This role will support the Finance Director and allow an ambitious accountant to join a high performing team. The successful candidate will work with operations teams to drive business performance in what is a commercial and forward looking role. This is a brilliant opportunity for a commercially minded management accountant to join a well respected and profitable group.

Our client is a Preston based business with an enviable reputation. They have performed well in recent years and are now forecasting further growth. 

Main duties

  • Prepare management reports, financial statements, and forecasts
  • Develop and maintain the integrated financial reporting model
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to improve cost efficiency
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide insights
  • Analysing financial data and preparing management reports
  • Contributing to process improvements and system enhancements

Candidate profile

  • CIMA/ACCA Qualified/finalist
  • Previous management accounts or commercial accounting experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
