The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing all finance and accounting operations, whilst working with the board of directors. You will also get involved with strategic planning and helping create finance models. You will also be expected to prepare and present finance statements as well as providing advice on strategic acquisitions.

Our client is a group of insurance companies that is rapidly growing in Lancashire.

Description

  • Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Additional controller duties as necessary.

  • Qualified accountant
