An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller, who is keen to lead a team within the Accounting & Finance department, based in Lancashire. The candidate should be able to handle financial management, financial data analysis whilst also managing a small team.

Description

  • Overseeing the Accounting & Finance department's operations.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance and liaising with auditors.
  • Analysing financial data and making strategic recommendations.
  • Preparing detailed reports on financial performance.
  • Leading budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Managing and mentoring the finance team.
  • Implementing effective internal controls.
  • Liaising with other departments to provide financial insight.

Profile

  • Qualified or QBE accountant
  • Experience working in a high volume business
  • Team management and leadership skills
  • Experience within a broad role
  • Strong excel & analytical skills

Job Offer

  • Salary in the range of £45,000 - £55,000
  • 28 days holiday, including bank holidays, plus the option to buy an additional 5

  • Ideally this will be a predominantly site based role but there is flexibility on working hours
