An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller, who is keen to lead a team within the Accounting & Finance department, based in Lancashire. The candidate should be able to handle financial management, financial data analysis whilst also managing a small team.

Description
- Overseeing the Accounting & Finance department's operations.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and liaising with auditors.
- Analysing financial data and making strategic recommendations.
- Preparing detailed reports on financial performance.
- Leading budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Managing and mentoring the finance team.
- Implementing effective internal controls.
- Liaising with other departments to provide financial insight.
Profile
- Qualified or QBE accountant
- Experience working in a high volume business
- Team management and leadership skills
- Experience within a broad role
- Strong excel & analytical skills
Job Offer
- Salary in the range of £45,000 - £55,000
- 28 days holiday, including bank holidays, plus the option to buy an additional 5

- Ideally this will be a predominantly site based role but there is flexibility on working hours
