We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making. This role involves leading financial reporting, cash flow management, and team development while collaborating with senior leadership to drive business growth.

Description

  • Ensure accurate monthly accounts and compliance through balance sheet reviews and financial controls.
  • Prepare and deliver timely financial reports and KPIs for senior leadership.
  • Lead preparation of annual and semi-annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital to support business liquidity.
  • Manage currency risk and ensure adherence to treasury policies.
  • Draft tax computations and ensure compliance with HMRC submissions.
  • Assist CFO in preparing budgets and business cases aligned with strategy.
  • Support project appraisals and develop post-implementation reports.
  • Share expertise, identify training needs, and support team development.

Profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to drive business growth
  • Experience working within an SME & happy being in a hands on role
  • Advanced excel skills
  • IFRS & GAAP experience

Job Offer
