Our client is currently looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Management Accountant to join our client based in North Preston, the business is on a growth trajectory and has ambitious plans over the coming months/years. They are becoming a market leader with in their field and have no plans to stop!

The role is reporting directly to the company stakeholders and associated managers across the business within a multi-site structure. This will be a pivotal role as you lead and support the reporting of the company financials with exposure to commercial and operational departments, developing their financial accountability.

Duties for the Management Accountant include: -

  • Develop accountability with the budgeting and projected forecasts, monitoring all internal expenditure costs and demonstrating visibility across the business.

  • Process all accruals and prepayments.

  • Develop the reporting of stock control and processes, with particular of stock levels and movement.

  • Define better performance reports across the organisation, incorporating KPIs and budgetary controls

  • Maintain the company fixed asset register, covering all depreciations and values.

  • Improve the current purchase ledger reporting process and improves controls around purchasing across departments.

  • Support the production of the monthly management accounts at Group level.

  • Accurately report the working capital position and associated cashflow projections moving forward.

The successful candidate will be joining a fast-paced organisation who are growing organically and as well as acquisitions. The role of Management Accountant will provide autonomy and need someone who has some leadership skills, developing gravitas across the business with key departmental management and provide deeper financial accountability.
