About the RoleAs a Senior Management Accountant, you will play a key role in the finance team, taking ownership of key financial close activities and delivering accurate, timely management accounts. You'll work closely with stakeholders in the business, providing expert financial advice and insights, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
This varied role will also see you contributing to financial projects, supporting audits, and helping to develop and refine accounting processes in line with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing accurate monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Partnering with key areas of the business, providing financial advice and insight to support decision-making.
- Reviewing and improving accounting processes to drive greater efficiency and ensure compliance.
- Extracting and analysing financial data to support reporting and planning.
- Supporting financial projects and ensuring their successful delivery.
- Assisting with the annual audit process and maintaining high standards of compliance and reporting.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and providing clear financial guidance.
About YouWe're looking for someone with:
- Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in delivering financial management support, ideally in a fast-moving organisation.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, with experience using accounting systems and knowledge of IFRS (preferred).
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A strong eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to improving processes and problem-solving.
- French language skills (advantageous but not essential).
