Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Senior Reporting Accountant to add to their talented, hardworking team in Preston on an initial 12 months contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same. This role will be offering £37.84 per hour inside IR35

The Role

Within the role of Senior Reporting Accountant you'll be responsible for:

* Working closely with the Head of Financial Control Shared Services, identify and implement process improvements to ensure finance processes are efficient, resilient, and robust.
* Identify weaknesses and improve controls within the finance team to maintain the accuracy of P&L and Balance Sheet.
* Design, implement, and monitor/maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
* Conduct periodic assessments of internal controls and recommend improvements.
* Recommend improvements to financial process
* Evaluate financial and operational processes for compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
* Identify areas of financial risk and work collaboratively to develop strategies for mitigation.


You

To succeed within the role of Senior Reporting Accountant you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:

* Professional certifications such as ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA
