An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tax and Accounts Semi-Senior within a leading practice, based in Preston. This role requires a dedicated individual with a sound knowledge of tax and accounts, eager to contribute to a dynamic team.

Description
- Managing a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Preparing tax and accounts for individual clients and businesses.
- Complete corporate, personal, and partnership tax returns
- Produce year-end accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited companies
- Prepare VAT returns and occasional bookkeeping tasks
- Liaising with HMRC on clients' behalf.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Ensuring all work complies with the firm's quality control standards.
- Assisting with ad-hoc tax and accounts projects as required.
Profile
A successful Tax and Accounts Senior should have:
- Relevant academic qualifications in accounting or a related field.
- Demonstrated skills in tax and accountancy
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
- A strong understanding of HMRC regulations.
- Good working knowledge of various accounting programmes ideally having experience with Sage, Xero and CCH Central.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Offer
Tax and Accounts Senior
- A competitive salary range of £30,000 - £40,000 per year.4-day
- 35 hours per week (with the option of a 4 day week)
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (20 days for a 4-day week)
