Safeguarding Administration Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Administration Assistant to join a team based in the centre of Preston. This role is crucial in supporting Child Protection Conferences (CPCs) and Multi-Agency Risk Management Conferences by managing invitations, calendars, and compiling detailed reports from police databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Safeguarding Support Officers.
  • Compile accurate reports for Child Protection Conferences and Case Summaries for Multi-Agency Risk Management Conferences.
  • Process electronic CPC invitations accurately.
  • Maintain and update the Safeguarding Team Calendar efficiently.
  • Conduct police database checks for multi-agency safeguarding meetings and record information appropriately.
  • Manage the administrative booking process for multi-agency meetings, coordinating with partner agencies to schedule and confirm attendance.
  • Provide redacted police information to partner agencies to protect sensitive data.
  • Perform immediate safeguarding checks for partner agencies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in administrative roles, preferably within a safeguarding or public protection context.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with various stakeholders.
