Our client, a leading authority in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Service Management Governance Lead to join their team in Samlesbury on a contract basis. This role is pivotal within the Air Business Unit, with a focus on IT Service Management, ensuring robust governance and compliance across service delivery frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing IT service management governance structures and policies
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal standards
- Overseeing service delivery processes to maintain high performance and quality
- Collaborating with internal teams to align service management with business needs
- Providing guidance and support on service management best practices
- Managing risk identification and mitigation strategies within service governance
- Monitoring and reporting on service management metrics and KPIs
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the service management framework
Job Requirements:
- Experience in IT Service Management
- Strong knowledge of service governance frameworks
- Understanding of regulatory compliance within the Defence & Security sector
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in developing policies and procedures
- Ability to analyse and report on performance metrics
- Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with onsite presence required 3-4 days per week
