Our client, a well-established manufacturer, retailer & supplier of specialist apparel is now seeking an ambitious Account Manager to join their team in Preston.

The purpose of the role is to nurture existing relationships, chase up leads and develop new business.

This is a great opportunity for a commercial, ambitious candidate who wants to work with a wider team to drive the business forward. The successful candidate will be offered excellent career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing sales, marketing and design to develop core ranges to enable business growth
  • Introducing and developing processes to enable efficiencies internally & externally for the best customer experience
  • Business development and customer retention
  • Networking - with existing Gymnastics clubs and associations
  • Identifying marketing opportunities
  • Attending Events
  • Working with the marketing team to ensure the website is fully detailed and user friendly.

Role Requirements:

  • Proven track record in a Sales / Account Manager role.
  • A knowledge and / or interest in either dance, gym wear, textiles or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well independently while following the wider business’ plans and strategies.
