Agricultural Technician
Job description
We are currently looking for somebody to join our busy agricultural service department, to complete as required: builds, maintenance and repairs on tractors and agricultural equipment both onsite and occasionally offsite.
Main Duties
- To build new stock from suppliers to a high level of standard.
- Perform pre-delivery set up on new or used equipment and supports service specialists when required.
- Perform routine maintenance diagnostics and repairs in the workshop and in the field when required.
- Complete all reports and administration required for work assignments on time and in full.
- Successfully complete training to support product knowledge and to maintain and develop your skills and knowledge.
- Comply with all Health and Safety legislation, Company Policies and Procedures, to ensure safety to all staff, customers and visitors.
- Through your knowledge and experience advise customers on optimisation techniques for their machines, products and services and delivering outstanding customer aftercare and support.
Main Qualities
- The role requires you to act in a professional manner and actively promote Siromer Tractors with positivity and integrity.
- You should be able to work well as part of a team and independently.
- A driving licence would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of agricultural equipment is a must.
Hours Of Work
Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30 pm
Occasional later hours and weekends will be required over seasonal times to cover demand.
