Our client, a key player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking three Procurement Engineers to join their team on a contract basis. This role will be part of the Defence division, focusing on military, air, and information systems projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing procurement processes for defence-related projects
- Working closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Negotiating contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and conditions
- Monitoring supplier performance and resolving any issues that may arise
- Liaising with internal teams to understand project requirements and timelines
- Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities and documentation
- Supporting risk management by identifying and mitigating potential supply chain risks
- Adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements
Job Requirements:
- Experience in procurement within the defence or security sectors
- Understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management
- Ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
