This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in Systems and Equipment Engineering tasks, particularly centred on the ECRS Mk2 Radome and Radar elements operating on current and future P4E Avionics products. The role also provides limited support to the ECRS Mk2 Lead Engineer and may extend to other programmes.

The role is challenging and wide-ranging, necessitating close collaboration with suppliers, procurement, sub-system teams, systems integrators, and engineering management. It demands strong organisational skills and a self-sufficient approach to task management, along with the ability to cultivate positive and proactive relationships both internally and externally.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and expedite supporting documentation in liaison with SMEs
  • Provide technical engineering interface into Parker - Meggitt
  • Support day-to-day operations and attend project management meetings
  • Provide internal status reports and present documents
  • Support the integration of the Radome onto the platform
  • Manage the legacy of the Radome
  • Maintain and upkeep legacy products
  • Support occasional aircraft flight and equipment trial testing


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in systems engineering
  • HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering field, or demonstrable professional experience in relevant engineering roles
  • Knowledge and appreciation of RF transmissions theory (desirable)
  • Knowledge of composite materials (desirable)
