Page Personnel are working alongside a very successful company based in Preston. They are currently seeking a diligent Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Accounting & Finance team in the Life Science industry.

Description

The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for:

  • Processing invoices and credit notes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Performing monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Handling purchase ledger queries promptly and professionally.
  • Assisting with month-end processes and reporting within the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
  • Ensuring supplier details are kept up to date in the system.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance team.
  • Complying with all company procedures and controls.

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger should have:

  • Proven skills in handling Purchase Ledger tasks.
  • Proficient use of finance software and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
