Position Overview: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Automated Cutting and Stripping Machine Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a fully automated cutting and stripping machine to produce high-quality materials efficiently. The ideal candidate should possess strong numerical and literacy skills, with a keen eye for quality control. While previous experience in a similar role is preferred, it is not essential, as our client is willing to provide training to the right candidate.



Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operate and monitor automated cutting and stripping machine to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
  2. Set up the machine according to job specifications, including adjusting cutting and stripping parameters as necessary.
  3. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
  4. Perform routine maintenance on the machine to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  5. Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production and take corrective actions as needed.
  6. Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  7. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
  8. Utilize computer systems for data entry, production tracking, and quality control purposes.

Qualifications:
  1. Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in basic software applications and the ability to learn new programs quickly.
  2. Numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to accurately follow written instructions and measurements.
  3. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  6. Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production setting is preferred but not essential.
  7. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  8. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.


Fixed Day shift

7:30 am till 4pm Mon to Thursday
Friday early finish! 7:30am till 1pm
