Lead Business AnalystOne of IT Bods leading clients is seeking a positive, proactive Lead Business Analyst to guide, manage, and mentor a newly formed team of talented Business Analysts. This is a unique opportunity to establish a core business analyst capability and build a highly respected team in a prestigious University in the North West of EnglandKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop working standards and processes for the team, including documenting business process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirementsInfluence and motivate team members to deliver high performance against objectives and deliverablesEnsure risks associated with Design, Build, and Change Request approaches are clearly documented with mitigating actionsConduct quality assurance and peer reviews of the team's workSupport development, testing, training, and business change activities throughout the project or product/service improvement lifecycleMajor DutiesWork with Design & Build teams to develop team standards and processesInfluence and motivate team members to deliver high performanceDocument and mitigate risks associated with agreed approachesConduct quality assurance and peer reviewsSupport various activities throughout the project lifecycleRequired Experience, Skills & AbilitiesYou must possess:Degree level education or equivalent professional experience in business analysisRelevant Professional qualification (e.g., BCS, APMG)Extensive experience leading a business analyst team in a large, complex IT departmentProven track record of establishing Business Analyst capability from scratchExperience aligning IT strategy with business goalsAbility to establish and lead a high-performing teamStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to bridge technical and non-technical audiencesHigh level of professionalism, integrity, and customer service focusHistory of personal development in business analysisDesirableKnowledge of IT landscape in Higher Education
