Position: Full-Time Temporary Case Administrator - National Probation Service
Contract: 3 months with the possibility of extending
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours (37 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: 11.44 per hour
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an organised, motivated case administrator to support the admin team at Preston NPS. The successful candidate will work with the operational team manager and admin managers to develop appropriate admin systems, practice, procedures and work instructions to support the work of the unit. Duties will include but not be limited to

  1. The distribution and retrieval of information from courts, offender management teams, interventions and external organisations as required.
  2. Input, maintain, update and retrieve data and statistical information providing management reports as required using computer-based systems.
  3. To operate a file management service, including opening, recording new files, preparing files for transfer between offices, storage, maintenance and termination.
  4. To provide reception duties in a manner which meet service aims and objectives.

Requirements:

  • The candidate will need to be a forward thinker, problem solver and demonstrate patience and resilience as the role is demanding.
  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Please note this role requires HMPPS vetting which can take approx. 2-3 weeks to come through and the successful candidate would need to wait until this is in place before they could start in the role.
