Sonic Summary
- A SC Cleared Application Configuration Engineer is needed for an initial 6-month contract with a hybrid work model of 40-50% on-site in Preston or Barrow.
- Candidates must have experience in NX Structure Designer, NX for Ship Building, NX Check-Mate, NXOpen, NX Product Template Studio, NX Visual Reporting, and XML coding.
- The role requires the ability to provide training to team members and liaise with the program delivery team to understand configuration requirements.
- Submarine structures design experience is beneficial, and candidates with high-level security clearance are preferred.
- The position is inside IR35 and requires working through an FCSA accredited umbrella company, with a salary of £450-£500 per day and candidates should ideally have several years of relevant experience.
Key skills and experience:
Experience in one or more of the following:
o NX Structure Designer
o NX for Ship Building
o Authoring NX Check-Mate
o NXOpen
o NX Product Template Studio (PTS)
o NX Visual Reporting
o XML coding (to be used for the above)
* Able to provide training to other members of the team in NX and Teamcenter and configuring toolsets.
* Liaising with the program delivery team to gather and understand their requirements and requests to be configured
* Submarine structures design experience is beneficial.
