About the Job:

As the Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the Managing Director and the existing Business Development Manager to drive a 30% business growth in 2025 with the goal of expanding their commercial footprint in the renewable energy sector. You’ll play an instrumental part in achieving multimillion annual turnover, managing a mix of leads generated by the Managing Director and those self-source through networks and industry connections.

  • You will be responsible for leading the tendering process for the commercial solar projects from initial proposal to close, ensuring all project requirements are met.
  • Collaborating with the managing director and current business development manager to optimize sales efforts and improve client outreach.
  • You’ll proactively source and manage new business opportunities within the commercial solar sector with a focus on quality over volume.
  • You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, bringing with you a network of industry contracts to enhance business operations.

About you:

  • Minimum 2-3 years in a similar role with experience in commercial solar sales and familiarity with tendering for framework projects
  • A proven track record of delivering results in commercial solar with the ability to manage high-quality client relationships.
  • You’ll have extensive network experience in the industry from previous experience.
  • You’ll be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects, aligning with the managing director to enable them to focus more on executive responsibilities.
