Description

Managing multiple dynamic teams supporting business customers worldwide.

  • Overseeing daily customer service operations with a focus on customers in the industrial/manufacturing space.
  • Leading a complex team specialising in bespoke customer orders and managing the Sales Order Process from order to aftersales
  • Developing a new Inside Sales function to contribute towards business success.
  • Developing and implementing customer service strategies to improve quality of service and productivity.
  • Handling complex escalated customer complaints or enquiries.
  • Creating and maintaining reports about customer service activities.
  • Identifying and implementing strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability.
  • Liaising with company management to support and implement growth strategies.
  • Coordinating and managing customer service projects and initiatives.

Profile

A successful Head of Customer Service should have:

  • A proven track record in a managerial or Head of customer service role within the industrial / manufacturing industry.
  • Significant people leadership skills
  • B2B customer service experience
  • Proven background incorporating sales into service
  • Based within a reasonable commute to Lancashire (role based on site)
  • Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to motivate a high performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
