Description
Managing multiple dynamic teams supporting business customers worldwide.
- Overseeing daily customer service operations with a focus on customers in the industrial/manufacturing space.
- Leading a complex team specialising in bespoke customer orders and managing the Sales Order Process from order to aftersales
- Developing a new Inside Sales function to contribute towards business success.
- Developing and implementing customer service strategies to improve quality of service and productivity.
- Handling complex escalated customer complaints or enquiries.
- Creating and maintaining reports about customer service activities.
- Identifying and implementing strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability.
- Liaising with company management to support and implement growth strategies.
- Coordinating and managing customer service projects and initiatives.
Profile
A successful Head of Customer Service should have:
- A proven track record in a managerial or Head of customer service role within the industrial / manufacturing industry.
- Significant people leadership skills
- B2B customer service experience
- Proven background incorporating sales into service
- Based within a reasonable commute to Lancashire (role based on site)
- Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to motivate a high performing team.
